Flower arranging workshops
The Heaven Flowers @home workshop is a converted space in Stotfold, just up the road from the Hitchin studio. We run small-group flower arranging classes there throughout the year — seasonal themed workshops, private hen-do groups, christmas wreath classes, and the occasional advanced floristry session. Group size is capped at 8 so everyone gets proper guidance.
Workshops run roughly twice a month from spring through autumn, with a busier December run of wreath-making sessions. Private group bookings can be arranged on most weekdays with 3–4 weeks' notice.
Scheduled workshops
Seasonal hand-tied bouquets
The flagship workshop. Make your own hand-tied bouquet using the season's best flowers and foliage. Each guest takes home a finished bouquet wrapped in florist's paper.
Spring vase arrangements
March–May. Tulips, ranunculus, anemones, and early garden flowers in low ceramic vases. Includes the vase, which you take home with the arrangement.
Summer table centrepieces
June–August. Garden roses, peonies, dahlias, and foliage. Designs scaled for dinner-party use — long-and-low or compact-round depending on preference.
Autumn dried flower wreaths
September–November. Dried flowers, seed heads, grasses, and foliage on a willow base. Lasts for years on display. The first hour covers wreath structure; the rest is creative arranging.
Christmas wreath workshops
December. Fresh evergreen wreaths with seasonal accents — pinecones, cinnamon sticks, dried orange, ribbon, or fresh berries. Always our busiest workshop run; book early.
Wedding bouquet masterclass
For brides who want to make their own. Covers stem prep, bouquet structure, ribbon binding, and conditioning to last from morning until evening. Materials chosen to match your colour palette.
Private group bookings
The workshop space hosts private groups for hen parties, baby showers, work team-building, birthday celebrations, and the occasional corporate event. Private bookings are quoted per group; we'll work out theme, refreshments, and timing in advance.
Hen-do flower party
A relaxed afternoon making bouquets or wedding-style buttonholes. Includes Prosecco and tea, all materials, and a take-home arrangement for each guest. Can be themed to match the wedding colours.
Baby shower flower workshop
Pastel-themed bouquets or table arrangements. We often pair these with a small "guess the flower" game or other gentle activity.
Team-building or corporate workshop
Workplace groups, charity-team events, or as a creative team-building option. Quoted per group size, includes refreshments and all materials.
Birthday or anniversary celebration
A dedicated workshop for a milestone birthday or anniversary group. Theme and palette chosen by the person celebrating.
